There are a few things that are needed for the integration to work.

1. In Shopify - here you will generate an API, a password and a secret

Generating API key with the Shopify admin panel.
  1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Go to Manage private apps. /usually its on the bottom/
  4. Read and check the terms, and then click Enable private app development.
  5. Input App name and email.
  6. Choose Generate API credentials.
  7. Enter the title.
  8. Save.


Admin API Permissions

  1. Go to https://myshopify.com/admin/apps/private 
  2. Scroll down to the section labelled ADMIN API PERMISSIONS.
  3. Tap on ▼ Review disabled Admin API permissions.
  4. Set Theme templates and theme assets to Read and write and then save
