Different types of Queues may have different setting depending what they are for, but all of them are relatively easy to set up.
Setting up a Picking queue
*1. Here you have to choose where will the items go after picking, to be sorted first or distributed.
note* - If you are a small warehouse, not using picking by wave and you don't need to sort orders you can skip sorting and finish the queue at a distribution place.
2. Choose a limit for picked items per order /optional/
3. Number of orders per wave - if its a queue for multiple orders, select a number for how many orders you can pick in a wave / 2 orders or more/
*4. Cross-order picking - Assigns tasks immediately, so the picker gets tasks for picking immediately. If this is off - the picker gets tasks after he has scanned any static place.
*5. Assign tasks immediately - *For system convenience works with the previous setting, so both of these should be active.
6. If you want the picker to have a limited number of orders at once, you can choose so here.
*7. Wave filling type - automatic or manual - choose if you want orders to go automatically to status assembling or not
*8. Choose what status the wave should be - assembling, preparing or finished
NOTE - for the automatic creation of waves to work, here you should choose AUTOMATIC wave filling and status of wave ''PREPARING''
*9. Multisequence - This feature avoids new orders to enter the wave you are currently working on.
It creates new sequences (waves) without waiting for the current one to be finished.
